Breathtaking Experience

AV Design Studio, in collaboration with DA Studio, has been entrusted with the design of a distinctive lounge restaurant located on the 20th floor of a hotel in San Antonio. Conceived as a destination rather than simply a dining venue, the project offers guests an elevated place to relax, socialize, and experience breathtaking sunset views over the city skyline.

The main interior lounge is envisioned as a warm and sophisticated environment, blending contemporary elegance with comfort. Carefully selected materials, refined lighting, and an intuitive spatial layout create an inviting atmosphere suited for both intimate moments and lively social interaction. The space is designed to transition effortlessly from daytime relaxation to an energetic evening ambiance.

Extending the experience outdoors, a large panoramic terrace forms a key element of the project. Designed as a lush urban retreat, the terrace incorporates generous green areas, landscaped planters, and natural textures that soften the architectural setting. Distinct zones for cocktail service, relaxed lounging, and seated dining allow guests to enjoy the views in a variety of settings, all while feeling immersed in a serene, open-air environment high above the city.

Adding another layer of exclusivity and character, the project also introduces a hidden speakeasy space. Discreetly integrated within the venue, this intimate lounge offers a more private and immersive experience. The speakeasy is designed with a cozy, comfortable atmosphere, rich textures, subdued lighting, and a sense of mystery that contrasts with the openness of the main lounge. A beautifully designed private terrace complements this space, providing a secluded outdoor setting for select guests to enjoy cocktails and conversation in a refined, intimate environment.

Together, the lounge restaurant, expansive terrace, and exclusive speakeasy create a multi-layered hospitality experience—an iconic destination where guests can dine, unwind, and connect while enjoying the unique atmosphere and elevated views of San Antonio.
